Sump Saver has designed and is producing a line of commercial units. The following features have been designed to address the challenges that large bins present.
Heavy duty frame: Sump Saver units have always been rugged and have stood up to the pressures and conditions present at the bottom of fully loaded grain bins. Consistent with the robust design of the Mighty Mini, the frame on commercial units matches the demands present on the larger sized units.
Additional Fingers: Fingers are spaced across the full length of the shaft. The number of fingers used is determined by the physical size of your sump and the length of shaft needed to cover it.
- Mighty 24”: Three fingers
- Mighty 36”: Five fingers
- Mighty 48”: Six fingers
More Power: Commercial units are equipped with motors that match the power needed for the unit’s configuration.
- Mighty 24”: 310cc — 6,000 pounds of continuous Torque
- Mighty 36”: 625cc — 8,725 pounds of continuous Torque
- Mighty 48”: 785cc — 9,200 pounds of continuous Torque
Sump Saver as a restorative tool: Sump Saver units are designed to be placed in the flow of grain as it enters the sump and exits the bin. If grain is flowing freely, it will flow uninterrupted past the unit. If grain flow is impeded turning the unit on will assist in breaking up obstacles or stir things such as bean pods assisting them to exit the bin.
Sump Saver as a preventive tool: Sump Saver can also be used as preventative tool by running it continuously during the unloading process. This is an option many customers opt to use when unloading large diameter bean bins. You can never be sure when large amounts of pods approach the sump. But when large amounts of pods or foreign material do approach the sump. Sump Saver will assist in maintaining the desired flow. Preventing materials from building up is key to an uninterrupted unloading process.
An unintended but positive benefit: If the Sump Saver is installed on a sump that is beyond the center of the bin. It allows the user to run the power sweep partially around before entering the bin to move the Sump Saver.
